Annual Cornhole Tournament Fundraiser

March 15 @ 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm

5th Annual Cornapalooza Postponed

March 13, 2020

Homewood Athletic Foundation Patrons,

We have been monitoring the Coronavirus situation and have decided that we have to postpone this weekend’s annual Cornapalooza tournament. We will continue to monitor the situation nationally and working in conjunction with the City of Homewood. We are sincerely committed to rescheduling this event as soon as possible, and we will provide updates when we have them.

Cornapalooza is the largest fundraiser that the Homewood Athletic Foundation holds, and we are grateful for the commitment that you made to support our efforts to ensure the safety of Homewood’s student-athletes and their ability to compete with other programs in the region. One of our board members will reach out to make arrangements for your donation and discuss options for showing our gratitude for your sponsorship and registration. Your generosity allows us to support Homewood athletes even when we have a great deal of uncertainty around our largest annual fundraiser.

If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me at homewoodaf@gmail.com.

Thank you for your support. We hope that all Homewood families remain safe and healthy and that we can celebrate over a game of Cornhole soon.

The Homewood Athletic Foundation (HAF) provides resources and scholarships above and beyond what the Homewood City School System provides. In the past five years, the HAF has invested over $150,000 in our student-athletes; this includes equipment upgrades, team building events, long-distance travel, and individual scholarships. The HAF is committed to making sure that all student-athletes at the High School and Middle School levels have the resources they need to compete at the local, state and national level. Cornapalooza is one of HAF’s two primary fundraisers and is a great opportunity to have fun while supporting the community and our student-athletes.
